Sandro Wagner has left his role as Augsburg head coach by mutual agreement after a poor run of results, capped by a 3-0 defeat to Hoffenheim. The club sits just above the Bundesliga relegation zone and will be led on an interim basis by former coach Manuel Baum until the winter break.
